Thieving Piece of Excrement (In All Senses!)

Firstly, my thanks go to one of our followers, whom I will identify as "Paul", for alerting me to this event.

It appears that a new anti-theft device has inadvertently been discovered by a pensioner in Worthing. As we know, Worthing has a large, elder population. This could, therefore, catch on as a tactic.

It would appear that an elderly lady was walking her dog when a youth rode past on his bike and snatched the bag, which she was carrying. What the youth had failed to realise was that the lady is a responsible citizen and was carrying a bag of dog poo to the nearest bin.

The thieving piece of excrement did no more than thieve a piece of excrement! Divine justice!

Our thanks go to The Argus for this article.

Thinking of divine retribution got me looking around for related topics. I was interested to find the following article in the Guardian. It appears that some Franciscan friars in Tuscany at the 15th century church of San Salvatore al Monte are fed up with crime. It all went too far when a rare and expensive bible disappeared from the lectern. They discovered a unique solution.

They have offered prayers for the thief to be visited with a bout of diarrhoea (although they use a different word, such is their anger!).

When thinking of the thief in Worthing I can only observe "amen to that!" Article here.
